Howdy! I’m Tisa!
A curious, resilient, creative, hardworking, and optimistic: designer, photographer, and illustrator. Growing up in Nepal, surrounded by mountains, nature, and rich cultural traditions, I developed a deep curiosity about the world and a love for exploring, experimenting, and creating. That curiosity drives everything I do, whether I’m designing a brand, capturing a moment through photography, or illustrating a story.
I’m currently pursuing my MFA in Visual Communication and Design and an MS in Emerging Media and Technology at Kent State University, where I also work as a Graduate Assistant, supporting campus design initiatives and projects. These experiences allow me to blend research, technology, and creativity into work that feels human-centered and meaningful.
Outside of design, I recharge by practicing Pilates, meditating, cooking, or exploring the outdoors. I love nature, mountains, and food, anything that sparks inspiration and reminds me to stay curious.
I’m passionate about using my skills to create work that connects with people and leaves an impact. My short-term goal is to land a role where I can continue learning and growing as a designer, and my long-term goal is to take on a leadership role, like project manager or creative director, guiding teams and projects to make a tangible difference in the world. Feel free to reach out to me for collaborations, questions, or just to say hello. I’d love to connect!
